While it's relatively harmless if you're healthy, it poses a small risk, especially the more you take. A lot of people take it 25mg with 200mg caffeine three times a day but I never have and my results have still been dramatic. I recommend taking 12.5 mg (half of a 25mg tablet) with 100mg caffeine your first week or two to ease into it. I'm terrible at keeping weight off though so I started it again today. I lost about 30lbs over 3 months using it with a low calorie diet and exercise. I've been taking it off and on for years. issued ID logging requirements for purchasers of Sutafed and other drugs, etc.)īeing that ephedra is the plant from which ephedrine HCL is derived, both are banned in the US. Unfortunately for the pharma companies, there is no suitable substitute for pseudoephedrine available, so they had to stick with it and deal with the restrictive requirements forced upon their distributors by the DEA (i.e. But tweaker chemists, being the tenacious little devils they are, figured out how to use pseudoephedrine as well. which was supposed to have prevented the meth issue. It has similar effects as ephedrine, but is a different molecule. Pharma companies that used Ephedrine in their products (certain decongestants, Nyquil, etc.) had to find a substitute, and developed pseudoephedrine - the name being an exact definition of what it is: "not genuine ephedrine". No, Ephedrine was banned because of the meth issue. I wouldn't suggest Ephedra even as a last resort even used safely (as pure ephedrine), the effects are merely "pretty good". Is it just best only buy supps with ephedrine HCl in measured amounts so you know exactly how much ephedrine your ingesting (and you're not getting ripped off with low potency)? Ephedra should absolutely not be trusted as a diet aid. but I wouldn't put my trust in the companies selling it. I would expect that the variance in ephedrine content would depend on factors like how the plants were harvested, how carefully they were monitored, etc. Obviously those are the two extremes, but the point being what it is is that the range is very large. So if you were to ingest 1g of Ephedra, that could (theoretically) get you anywhere from 1.5mg to 22.5mg ephedrine. It contains 0.5-2.5% by weight of total alkaloids, of which ephedrine accounts for 30 to 90%. Its already been said, but Ephedra will vary. IIRC each pill of bronkaid is like 200mg psedo so for a 20 pack box you're looking at 3 or so grams of meth, possibly? I have no idea how much meth is necessary to get high so that's about as far as my scientific estimates go. So you can probably get between 70-85% overall yield by mol, so you're probably looking at 65%-80% mass yield since psedo is a bit heavier than meth? You can probably do siginifigantly better in extraction and it's possible that isolation isn't required/done because the side products aren't harmful but I have no idea. I would guess extraction from the binder is like 90-95% efficient (unless new formulations have some sort of anti-extraction binder), reaction is another 90-95% efficient and then isolating the product is another 90-95% efficient. That seems like a pretty easy reaction to do, so the number of steps to convert is probably fairly small and well studied for such a simple side chain replacement. It looks like pseudo's only difference is that it has an extra OH group on the side chain. Pseudo and meth have pretty similar structures and can be converted pretty easily to my knowledge. Well I've never made any, so this is just me speculating:

To get the most out of your MacBook, there are certain types of software we recommend avoiding. We recommend using either Activity Monitor or a third party app such as iStat Menus – we've put together a list of Mac monitoring apps – which provide much more information packed into a user-friendly GUI. This utility is widely used by Mac experts, because it helps them to identify the root cause of a machine overheating and the overuse of memory and CPU. The latter option will give you an idea of which apps to quit, while Activity Monitor will give you the necessary tools to fix the drain. Starting with macOS Sierra 10.12, Apple provides two options to check which apps are using significant battery power, either by checking Activity Monitor or by clicking the battery icon and checking the applications listed under “Apps Using Significant Energy”. How Do I Monitor the Energy Consumption on My Mac? The more hardware intensive the process initiated by the app is, the quicker it drains the battery. The reasons for a battery draining quickly may vary, but the main point is that there are CPU and GPU intensive apps, which obviously requires more power to be delivered by the battery. However, as the MacBook's battery inches toward the end of its lifespan, your mobility becomes reduced due to needing to find a power socket, which is something you don't want since you opted for a portable Mac instead of a desktop computer. MacBook Pro/Air computers usually have enough power to keep you on the move throughout the day, often lasting for nine or ten hours. This depends on the model you own – some only have 300, others 500, while the more expensive models last 1,000 charges – but the main idea is that you don't want to charge the machine too often (for example three times a day would be too much), because these charging cycles are going to run out sooner. No matter which portable Mac you use, the lifespan of its built-in battery is limited to a particular number of charging cycles. The fastest woman of all time was Florence Griffith-Joyner, whose world record of 10.49 seconds has stood since 1988. Bolt retired in 2017 at the age of thirty. Interestingly, Bolt's right leg is half an inch shorter than his left due to scoliosis, which means that his left foot spends approximately 14 percent more time on the ground when running biomechanical scientists have failed to conclude whether this has helped or hindered Bolt in his career. Despite this Bolt is widely considered to be the greatest sprinter of all time, with eight gold medals to his name, winning every Olympic final in which he participated. In 2016, Bolt even became the first athlete to ever win a "triple-triple" in sprinting, by claiming gold in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m in three consecutive Olympics however his 2008 gold medal in the 4x100m was rescinded in 2017 when a teammate tested positive for banned substances. The only athlete to ever win three Olympic golds in the 100m sprint was Jamaica's Usain Bolt, who also set the current world record of 9.58 seconds in 2009. Since the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, the gold medal times have remained below ten seconds for men, and eleven seconds for women (although altitude allowed for many new records to be set at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, which is 2.2km above sea level). While measurements were not as accurate in earlier years, the men's time has fallen from 12 seconds in 1896, to 9.6 seconds in 2012, while the women's has fallen from 12.2 seconds in 1928 to 10.61 in 2020. Despite having a population of less than three million people, Jamaica has dominated this event since 2008, claiming 14 of the 24 medals on offer. Athletes from the United States have won both events more than any other nation, with sixteen victories in the men's race and nine in the women's, although Jamaica has emerged as a sprinting superpower since the millennium. The men's event has been included in every Olympics, while the women's event has been included since 1928. “It’s kind of like perfecting my own craft, and at the end of the day, I have supreme goals,” Zablocki said.Įvery time he hits the track, he hopes it will take him one step closer to that goal.Throughout modern Olympic history, the 100 meter sprint is generally regarded as the most high profile and popular event of each Summer Games. “I love this sport and I will continue to put all my work into it.” Zablocki now has his sights set on the Pan American Games in Puerto Rico in August, and he hopes to one day win the Olympics. “We’re always targeting technical, we’re always targeting parts of the race, so if it all came together we knew it was going to be fast,” he said. He said it wasn’t a total surprise when Zablocki tied the record. He’s always been fast, but he keeps getting better,” Taylor said in an interview with CTV News. “He actually has the provincial 60-metre record in every age group. Zablocki competes with the University of Regina Cougars, but he trains with PA Athletics coach Mike Taylor in Prince Albert, during the summer months.
